Once coverage is confirmed, the plan member pays a specified copay. US Script pays the pharmacy for the remainder of the drug costs and bills the plan member's employer or insurance company as outlined in the plan. As the newest member of CenCorp Health Solutions, US Script is excited to add the Medicaid sector to its list of preferred clients and will be migrating all of the prescription benefit management services for Centene's nationwide health plans to our PBM system in 2006. US Script finished migrating Wisconsin's Managed Health Services Plan to our system on March 1, 2006, and is currently adjudicating pharmacy claims according to the State of Wisconsin's Medicaid regulations. Upcoming implementations include Buckeye Community Health Plan of Ohio, Managed Health Services of Indiana, and Peach State Health Plan of Georgia.
US Script's services for our Medicaid plan partners include Pharmacy Provider Network Management, including contract management, pharmacy certification, pharmacy payment, and database administration; Prior Authorization (PA) Management including a PA Triage Desk that receives and responds to Prior Authorization Requests from physicians; maintenance of State Preferred Drug Lists (PDLs); provision of a Customer Service and Pharmacy Help Desk for member and pharmacy questions and concerns; and fulfillment of all State reporting requirements, including Encounter Data Reporting.
