History 1985 Robert Bagdasarian R.Ph. saw a need for a reliable on-line pharmacy adjudication package. With his background of over 20 years in pharmacy, he created RxNet, a Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) company, and became the second PBM in the nation to be able to adjudicate pharmacy claims online. 1994-1997 When the company was purchased by Value Health in 1994, the name changed to ValuRX. Mr. Bagdasarian continued with Value Health until 1997 when he and his CFO, Glenn Merritts, accepted the positions as CEO and CFO respectively. Mednet was one of the first Internet based mail-order pharmacies and PBMs. Mednet was acquired in 1998 by Bergin Brunswick, a pharmaceutical company. 1999 US Script, Inc. was formed on January 6, 1999 to meet the demand for pharmacy benefit management services that could respond immediately to client requirements and be adapted easily to future needs. By writing their own claims adjudication programs and implementing these programs with an in-house IT staff, they set an industry standard for flexibility in creating and managing economical pharmacy benefit plans. 2004 On March 11, 2004, US Script purchased 100% of the outstanding stock of Rx Direct, a pharmacy mail order company, from Walsh Healthcare Resources, Inc. During the same year, US Script completed its purchase of LBB Industries, Inc., a specialty pharmacy mail order company in order to maximize our services and increase cost savings for our clients. In the December 2004 issue of Inc. 500, US Script was cited as one of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies in which "plentiful talent, and constant innovation" exists.
