At US Script, we are firmly committed in complying with HIPAA for the security and privacy of patients.  Patient privacy is our utmost concern and from the very beginning of the HIPAA initiative, US Script has been at the forefront in ensuring that we are compliant with HIPAA.  A task force comprised of IT, Operations and HR was created in order to comply with HIPAA and integrate it on all levels of US Script. 

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) is the catalyst for many positive changes in the health care industry. Subtitle F of HIPAA, Administrative Simplification states its intent to improve ". . . the efficiency and effectiveness of the health care system, by encouraging the development of a health information system through the establishment of standards and requirements for the electronic transmission of certain health information."
